Kate Brown is a rich and varied mix of life experience and perspective. Born and raised in Ohio, she has lived in the South, the Midwest, and now resides in the Pacific Northwest. An avid reader since her childhood, Kate has always had a passion for words and has found her greatest joy in writing. She studied English and Journalism at Millikin University and earned a Graduate Degree from Columbia College Chicago
Her debut novel, The Caged Tiger, received multiple awards including Best Fiction by a Minor Press Award from ForeWord Magazine and Best Fiction from ForeWord Reviews. In addition to writing fiction, Kate loves to read nonfiction as well as historical fiction. She aspires to one day become a best selling author or author of a book that is historically significant.
